Mayan architecture along stunning beaches

Built in the nineteenth century as a seaport of Mérida, Progreso is located in the north-central part of Yucatàn. It is purely a maritime city and a very important industrial centre, around which, only a short distance away, there are numerous archaeological sites dating back to the Mayan culture.
